Coral® is an innovative material conceived by Buzzi & Buzzi with the aim of combining good design with natural and technological ingredients. It enables the production of lighting appliances characterized not only by their pure, fluid shapes and satin white finishes, but also by the extremely high technical quality of the material used.
Coral® is composed of a combination of natural minerals and aggregating elements which make it extremely resistant to high temperatures and thermal shock. This greatly increases the possible choice of lighting sources and allows them to be installed in a huge variety of different working environments.
The properties of low thermal conductivity, toughness, and fire resistance make this material highly impervious to knocks and scratches, allowing it to be safely used in readily accessible areas.
Coral® is very pleasant to touch, thanks to the velvety feel of its matt white surface. It can be easily decorated with any type of paint, either water or spirit based, allowing the lighting elements to be customised in a huge variety of ways. The product has a strong affinity with the environment, is inert and therefore totally non-allergic, and is composed of non-toxic mineral elements which, in the event of fire, do not produce fumes harmful to man. In addition, its special properties make it naturally dust-repellent.
The Coral® products do not require any specific maintenance, are certified in accordance with EC norms, and conform to the highest market standards.
